Members can start reporting their 2018 Q2 purchases beginning this Sunday, July 1st. Although it’s not a requirement, SGI Partner Network highly recommends reporting each and every quarter to ensure you receive every penny you are entitled to.
The only way to ensure that, is to report. By reporting, it documents that you purchased from an SGI Partner. After we process each quarter, we compare what you, our Members, reported versus what our Partners reported for you. If we see a discrepancy, we work with both the Member and the Partner to resolve them.
Recently we had a Partner whom reported $100K in equipment purchases, which were eligible for a 3.5% rebate. The Partner paid $3,500 to that member, but when we compared it what the Member reported, we saw that the Member reported $200K. After some digging we discovered that a distributor didn’t submit the Member’s purchases and that additional $100K or $3,500 in rebates was paid. As you can see, it pays to report. If that member would not have reported, they would have missed out on $3,500.
